Manufacturing Engineer Annie P Henderson Dr Social Circle, GA 30025 Job Summary:The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting manufacturing through the creation and maintenance of standard work instructions, equipment sourcing, process controls, labor and overhead costing, process routings and process improvement. The Manufacturing Engineer will work alongside the Quality team, Production Control team, and Senior Management team to ensure products meet customer and quality requirements in a safe and timely manner.Sites to support Social Circle Manufacturing Plant Essential Functions: Develop, create and update work standards and work instructions.Recommends methods for improving operator efficiency and reducing wasted motions or steps within a given work area to include restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, or work cell set-up.Support capital equipment procurement by performing objective make-vs.-buy and cost/benefit justification studies as required.Maintains complete records of time studies or other data used to change standards.Updates existing documentation to reflect changes in procedures, equipment, or standards.Generate daily/weekly efficiency/productivity reports, as well as other distribution reports as needed.Document or change production procedures as needed, including BOMs, tooling, and recommended part designs as well as other revision-controlled documents.
